Fifteen days ago we started with a man who admitted his enemy was too strong for him.
We end with where that admission took him: He brought me forth also into a large place.
That is the promise on the other side of Psalm 18:17. Not merely the removal of a threat — the arrival into room. Space to breathe. Space to build. Space you have not had in years because the fight has been taking up the whole house.
And notice the reason given at the end of the verse. Not because David deserved it. Not because he fought well. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
That is the last thing to sit with tonight. God is not reluctant about you.
Tomorrow. The Brook, Abbey Road, Stratford, London E15 2QT. Doors 5pm.
Bring your list. Bring your person. Come and take your large place.
